A satire on the story of Camelot
The estate was established in 1991 as the family home. During the building process of the home, the estate was dubbed “Pamelot” as an insult because of Pamela’s perfectionist personality, a satire on the story of Camelot.
She now wears that name as her badge of honor.
Having spent much of her childhood on her grandparents’ small farm, just down the street from Pamelot, now owned by their eldest daughter and son-in-law, Pamela learned to tend the soil and nurture things to grow.
And, like many young girls, she had a passion for horses.
In 1994 the first horses that would come to Pamelot were purchased and by 1997 Pamelot Farm was an established working horse farm. Since then, under Pamela’s leadership, Pamelot Farm has offered riding lessons, training, breeding, boarding, and offering summer camp for children while at the same time opening the beautiful grounds at Pamelot for special events and as a wedding venue. In 2017 Pamela had the idea and opportunity to add something new to the farm. Something that did not yet exist in the area, a winery and vineyard.
Pamela owns and still uses her grandfather’s 1950 Ford 8N tractor. She hooked up her plow and began to prepare the field for what would be the first of two vineyards on the farm.
And in 2019 Milton, Georgia’s founding winery opened
